The brief

Own SEO, web and paid performance — the unglamorous engineering work that decides whether content ever gets a chance to rank.

The situation

  • Content was being published into a WordPress structure that made it hard to find and harder to index.
  • Google Ads spend was landing on pages that did not match the promise made in the ad.
  • Core Web Vitals failures were suppressing pages that had genuinely useful content on them.
  • Keyword targeting was chasing volume instead of intent, pulling in traffic that never converted.

What I did

01

Revamped the WordPress site end to end

Structure, navigation, internal linking and page hierarchy rebuilt so that both crawlers and humans reached the important pages in fewer steps. User experience and traffic both moved 21%.

02

Ran full technical audits

Indexation, crawl behaviour, schema markup and Core Web Vitals, with a fix list ordered by impact rather than by ease of implementation.

03

Aligned ads to landing pages

Google Ads campaigns restructured with a CRO lens — cutting wasted spend by making every click land on a page that answered the query it came from.

04

Rewrote keyword strategy around intent

Content frameworks and targeting shifted toward queries that indicated a buying decision, not just a search volume figure.
